I love it. Its comedy gold.

F+LYING = FLYING

The sleeky futuristic white car fired up the steep ramp before driving upside down and then with thrusters activated spun around and flew through the air, throwing white smoke everywhere before landing majestically on the ground.

Its alleged to be an electric car. Electric smoke.

Plenty of smoke. Zero thrusters.

You can see the wire flash in the smoke video.

I'm looking forward to seeing electric rockets.

"You can tell its real, because it looks so fake."
-Elon-gated Musk

The smoke is generated by the ground as it approaches the ground @ 1:10.

Reminds me of David copperField magic tricks . Makes Statue of Liberty disappear. Have it Dark at night so it's harder to see things. Elon might have demanded the smoke cuz it looks cool.

He rotated the platform the audience was sitting on, to shift the statue out of view.

Clever guy.

Pals with Epstein.

Copperfield?

Copperstein.

These schemers manufacture much of the grand illusion.

An early form of google search manipulation. They didn't want people to know about Charles dickens great semi autobiographical novel.

I don't see it. You are saying there is a crane over it?

For certain.

The flying car also starts at the bottom of the ramp at 0 speed, and slowly travels up and around the ramp over the course of 6 seconds.

The thrusters are also oriented at 90° of each other; similar to the moon lander.

Intense thrust would be required to quickly flip the inverted vehicle, and this would cause some over rotation and then counter-thruster force for stabilization.

The car had just the slightest wobble as it flipped just a few degrees past 180°. The rotation fully stopped with the car oriented parallel to the ground.

Thrusters would also generate horizontal movement, unless the axis of rotation was constrained.

And they did it at night.

With plenty of puffs of smoke.

Thrusters only produce smoke in conditions of incomplete combustion. F-18s don't cover the flight deck in smoke.

F/A-18 Afterburner Catapult Night Launch on the USS Nimitz

It slowly drove up the ramp for 6 seconds, and that tells you all you really need to know.

Seems real enough to me. Flying cars already exist.

I didn't understand the upside down bit at first.
Still don't see the point.

It seems to me there are either different systems at work (ie. fans vs. thrusters), or they added the steam for effect.

His hyperloop idea is impossible.

[-]x0x73(+2|0)

It's showing that the car can have unlimited down force at any speed. Most drivers don't actually want to fly. They want to hug the road.

A car alleged to have vacuum suction on the bottom to drive up walls onto the ceiling?

Lets see the same demo on an unobstructed expanse during clear sky daylight conditions.

Not smokey spotlight circus atmosphere.

It would not surprise me if a cyber attack coincidentally took out tesla, so they don't have to deliver.

Prefect timing to falsify the flying car myth that almost went into production. Almost.

They can't even grey the automated driving to work, and you still have to watch the road.

Might well be driving if you are forced to direct your attention at the road the entire trip; each and every time you drive it.

Empty promises, fulfilled with more promises.

The suction does seem odd. Hovercrafts exist, but work with skirts. Suction is opposite. This is lots of tech for few case uses. Might be worth selling to race car drivers. And pilots? I don't know enough about pneumatics and such.

Lets see the same demo on an unobstructed expanse during clear sky daylight conditions.

There we go!

a cyber attack coincidentally took out tesla, so they don't have to deliver.

Excellent theory.

Yes, Tesla is promising. Infinitely.

The flying car sucks so much they should use that tech in their hyperloop. Infinite suck.

FYI, at the rate of things, we're going to have an army of cloned Harambes running a moon base before we get GTA 6.

He's having so much fun with this.

I bet people are desperately trying to buy one.

It is fascinating to watch all the people who buy into hoaxes all of the time see something real, and declare it to be a hoax.
