So I'm doing some vibe coding for a project. The AI implements a code feature or redesign and then runs 147 tests to ensure it's working correctly. It's a sound approach for stability in the program and the AI is doing a good job.
The issue comes when I make a minor change like changing text output from a vertical layout to a horizontal layout. Like this:
Product:
Name1
Name2
Name3
to:
Product
Name1, Name2, Name3
This is a very limited scope and code change but AI will run all 147 stability test again and think nothing of it, even if it takes 45 minutes to do it. It will sit there doing the same interface tests it ran 5 minutes ago when there was zero change to interface code.
Without me to step in and tell it not to run the full suit of test every time, it would still be going. I've found a lot of issues like this when letting AI take the coding lead. It definitely has it's strengths but it really need experienced supervision. The way it "thinks" is completely different from how we as people think.

Solution: At the base of your human skull you may switch the setting from random to linear.
