I have a soft spot for stupid comedies, like Super Troopers, Grandma's Boy, and Hot Rod.

For actual bad movies, Plan 9 from Outer Space was a decent watch. Also The Wicker Man and Con Air, Nicolas Cage is always entertaining.

The original Wicker Man is arguably the best horror movie ever made, and I was about to go off about it. Then you reminded me that there was a "remake".

I think for a comedy to qualify, it has to be not funny in the ways that it intended. Ken Begg of Jabootu's Bad Movie Dimension once described watching a Larry Buchanan movie at a party as a teen, it might have been Zontar: Thing from Venus, and another kid wandered in to start watching, then after a minute or so the following conversation ensued (from memory):

"What's going on in this scene?"
"Oh, this is a comic relief scene."
pause
"...how can you tell?"
"It's easy! Just listen to the music."
another pause. the coin drops
"Ohhhh!"

I'm not sure how many comedies of that sort still somehow qualify as entertaining. Maybe the two or three movies starring "The Barbarian Brothers", possibly the Ritz Brothers from way back when.

Oh, hai Mark!

If I didn't include that, people would complain. If I did include it, people who've only seen a few truly terrible films in their lives would vote for it because it's the Accepted Bad Movie of the past decade.

Beerfest. Though maybe it's not a bad movie at all.

Lifeforce is good.

I adore Lifeforce, and it's bonkers, but most consider it bad.

Voted for Mean Guns, as I'm a Pyun fan. But generally I think Bad Taste (1987) (first Peter Jackson movie) is the greatest "bad movie" ever.

It was fun, but didn't much impress me apart from the model work.

Pink Flamingos
Female Trouble

Just descriptions of Pink Flamingos gross me out. If I must put a Waters film up, it would probably be Polyester.

I saw those in the summer of 1989, only 18, from a great video store in Vancouver, and I saw The Night Porter and thought it the worst movie ever. Also I was very disappointed with Alphaville.
I mostly forget what they were all about.
I wonder if I'd be more forgiving now knowing what I know, and without great "cult" expectations.

Godard is overrated, but Alphaville is interesting, though not great. He peaked with Breathless and only Pierrot le Fou comes close to that, for me.

Which New Wave movie did the guy piss in the sink? That was dull, IMO. So was Repulsion.

I like Weekend, it's unlike any other movie :)

The never-ending tracking shot and the ethos behind it, both, cause me to loath it. But at least it's not Le Chinoise.

For "unlike any other movie" from France at that time, give me Jacques Tati's Playtime.
