I would prefer daylight savings year around but it looks like governments are going standard time year around and I think most will fall into suit after this cycle. either way I'm glad it's gone or on the way out. It never really bothered me until I got into my 30s then I started feeling the effects alot of the disruption to my routine.
I do prefer the daylight savings side of the year more. So going to full year daylight savings is tempting. But we'll end up with a permanent 1 hour offset from the rest of the world, which will make calculating the hour given the longitude more complicated.
What we really need is an 8 to 4 work culture instead of a 9 to 5.
