Yeah. I don't think fish works on pizza in general. So I don't think a tartar sauced pizza could get saved by the toppings that would go with it.
You must have never had lobster or crab pizza. I guess it's not technically fish, but it's seafood. At what point does it stop being pizza and just becomes a type of flatbread?

At first I was going to say unagi (eel) sauce. But now I'm sitting here thinking up toppings to pair with it....

My opinion is alfredo works. In fact it's the second most common pizza sauce after marinera.
